Inside Scoop!

Sprinkled with oodles of fun, the Art Room wound down for the summer break this week by sharing scoops of creativity and colourful sweet treats with our ice cream-themed activities, the cherry on top of what has been a fantastic first year of sessions!

Our preschoolers whipped up some beautiful ice cream paintings by mixing their own soft-scoop flavours with foam and paint to dollop into their brightly coloured cones. And afterschool the children experimented with new and exciting flavour combinations for their watercolour lollies and dreamt up their favourite sundae deserts using coloured paper, personalising their 3D creations with extra toppings of imagination.  We loved seeing the confidence with which everyone worked at the end of a busy term and the skills they have developed with us over the weeks.

A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in our exciting first year: those behind the scenes helping to spread the word, those that gave us a try and those that stuck with us all year through. Your feedback has been so rewarding and you’ve all helped to make The Art Room such a happy place to be.  We have absolutely loved getting to know and work with your amazing children and are super excited to open the doors to another fun-filled programme again next year!

We will be back at the end of August with a holiday workshop and are delighted to see our September classes already booking up fast. Do get in touch if you’ve not already reserved your child’s place. We’d love to continue being part of their creative journey as they develop their love for art.
