Happy Easter!

2026 started with a creative bang and The Art Room has overflowed with energy, smiles and innovation, and so many amazing creations over the past few months: from vibrant Veganuary still lives to music inspired sketchbooks, winter-athlete sculptures to signature bakes and spectacular portraits. Scroll back through the pages of our blog to marvel at the visual treasures on display!  So to wrap up an action packed spring term, this week in The Art Room we simply enjoyed getting creative with an Easter vibe and letting the children’s imaginations lead the way!

With a wide selection of resources on offer, our young artists created Easter inspired artworks to feature on the front of a card, designed from the heart and with a special person in mind.  Ideas were free-flowing and nothing was off limits as the children used pattern, colour and humour to personalise their creations with details that raised a smile or that meant something special to them. 

An eye-catching array of eggs emerged, big and small and rainbow-hued; some growing from the soil in Chocolate Land, others sprouting wings to float in the sky. The Art Room was full of sprigs of blossom, party chicks, ninja bunnies and Manga inspired scenes - a joyous kaleidoscope of springtime creativity.  Thank you everyone for an amazing term of arty fun!
